You will need to have someone assist you so that you can tape their ankle. You will submit this as a video assignment showing the different steps for taping. Taping an ankle involves several of the different taping techniques that we have learned about so far in this chapter.

Supplies you will need:

Athletic Tape

Prewrap

Heel pads (optional)

You do not need the spray adhesive or heel pads. You will just need to note in the video where and when you would have used them. You do need the prewrap so that you can get the tape job off of your volunteer and show it to the video at the end. I would recommend practicing several times before you video. You can do as many videos as you would like and submit the one that you think is best. The video should include the entire taping process from start (positioning the ankle) to finish (showing the cut off tape at the end to see if there are any gaps in the tape job.
