In the Module 3 Case Assignment, you will be creating a Compliance Program for your organization/facility. Every health care organization/facility must have written policies, procedures, and a code of ethical conduct.
This Discussion is designated to gather feedback and ideas from your colleagues (peers). You are to create and post 2 bullet point outlines:
(Remind your colleagues the name and type of your organization/facility.)
The name of my facility is “North Las Vegas Health and Wellness Center” a primary care facility.
1. Organizational Policies and Procedures (Corporate Compliance Program)
In this outline, list policies and procedures that your organization/facility will need. Include only the critical and obligatory policies and procedures for your type of organization/facility. When this document is fully developed in Module 3, it will serve as your organization/facility’s Corporate Compliance Program.
2. Organizational Code of Ethical Conduct
Prepare an outline of elements to be included in your organization/facility code of ethical conduct.
In your substantial responses to your colleagues, recommend any additional components needed in either the Standard of Ethical Conduct or Organizational Policies and Procedures. Discuss elements that should be considered based on the current health care environment and current/impending health care laws/regulations.
You will use the feedback and ideas from your colleagues in Module 3 to create two (2) comprehensive documents.
