Throughout this course, you have had opportunities to consider your own beliefs, values, social ideals and professional practice alongside our exploration of a variety of philosophical perspectives. Think about which readings, discussions and assignments were most influential to you. What has changed about your own professional or leadership philosophy, day-to-day practices, and/or future vision as a result of your experiences here? How has this experience challenged you to act as a person, leader, professional, and/or social agent, and what is your call to action?
This essay asks you to demonstrate your understanding of course content, your intellectual/academic processes (critical analysis), and your ability to translate theory into practice (personal and professional agency). Strong responses will grapple with both the intellectual and the practical, and will demonstrate clarity in both your argument and positionality. Responses should be between 2500-3500 words, contain a clearly stated thesis or position statement, and support said thesis/position with reasoned argument and properly cited scholarly evidence (using material from our course and outside research).
