The goal is for you to take the essays you constructed from midterm (construct an MLA essay based on whatever you see fit if you did not complete the midterm) as I want you to complete/submit something that you are proud of. All that I ask is that you stick to what we have covered in class. You have free range to focus on whatever topic of specialty may suit you as long as you utilize at least one of the works that we have covered in class from pre-midterm and at least one work that we covered in class post-midterm. Please remember to think along the lines of themes, motifs, symbols, and conceptual ideas when constructing this final essay as it will serve as your prompt.
DO NOT SUBMIT A SUMMARY OF THE WORKS THAT YOU CHOOSE FOR YOUR ESSAY AS THAT IS NOT ACCEPTED.
Treat this as an argumentative essay, which requires evidence from your selected texts (how ever many times you see fit) as well as three outside sources (from any of the Texas College databases) that you are required to quote from at least twice.
Remember to not insert yourself in the essay in any shape, form, or fashion: please just stick to the literature at hand.
