As this week’s title states… Oh, my! Technology seems to be advancing before our eyes! As graduate nurses, we are poised to lead initiatives, assess and measure outcomes, and address ethical issues, along with data and technology’s safety, reliability, and accuracy. This week, we covered many innovative and emerging technologies. I suspect more lurking in the perimeter than we know about yet.

A. Discuss the positive and negative impacts of social media on healthcare outcomes and improving population health, and the role of the advanced nursing professional in addressing these.

C. Discuss the human factors that impact the use of social media.
